T&Cs

POLICIES

It is our intention to provide our clients with a professional and therapeutic treatment. The following policies and procedures serve as a guide for first-time and regular clients of Libellula Relaxation & Health.

At Libellula Relaxation & Health, we understand that unanticipated events occur in everyone’s life. In our commitment to provide a unique and outstanding experience to all of our clients and out of consideration for our time, we have adopted the following policies:

Arrival at your appointment

Please arrive for your appointment 10 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time. This allows you the time for a relaxed and unhurried experience. Also, for first-timers, it allows time to fill out the required forms if this hasn’t been done previously online.

If a late arrival is inevitable, your treatment will be shortened in order to keep on schedule. No full or partial refunds will be given.

Cancellations

At least 24 hours notice is required if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment.

If you fail to cancel/reschedule 24 hours prior to your appointment slot, you will be charged full price. Compassion for particular circumstances will of course be considered.

No Show

Clients who fail to show for their treatment appointments will not be given a full or partial refund.
Compassion for particular circumstances will of course be considered.

An SMS reminder is provided to help prevent non-attendance.

Gift Certificates will be marked as redeemed if you no show.

Late Arrivals

We regret that late arrivals will not receive extension of scheduled treatment appointments.
In special cases, and when our schedule allows, we may be able to accommodate a partial or full appointment. This will be at our discretion and only with proper, advanced notification of your late arrival.

The original treatment fee will be charged.

Existing and New Medical Conditions

It is the responsibility of the client to keep the therapist informed of any medical treatment currently being taken, and to provide written permission from the GP, chiropractor, physiotherapist, etc., that the treatment may be continued.

The client must also keep the therapist informed of any changes in health conditions.

Scope of Practice

Massage Therapy is a profession in which the practitioner applies manual techniques, and may apply adjunctive therapies, with the intention of positively affecting the health and well-being of the client.

We do not diagnose or prescribe for medical conditions. We may refer you to your GP for diagnosis or further treatment. In some cases, we may refer you to your GP (or specialist, as appropriate) for medical clearance.

Professional Boundaries

Requests for sexual activity will not be tolerated, will be viewed as solicitation, and reported to the proper authorities. The treatment will be stopped immediately and the client will not be rescheduled if this occurs.
Sexual interaction or discussion of any kind between the client and the massage therapist is NEVER appropriate.

Confidentiality and Privacy

We will only collect your personal information with your consent. All information collected will be directly relevant to your treatment. Information will be collected either online or in person.

We will never disclose your personal information to any third parties, unless required by law. Your information may be used for our own direct marketing; if you do not wish to receive communication from Libellula Relaxation & Health please advise us at any time.
